Fortnite gets remote crossover with fantasy novel serial Mistborn
Fortnite is crossing all over with Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn novel series with an in-crippled skin, items, and a themed loading screen.
Pretty practically everyone and everything has crossed over with Fortnite at this point, from totally sorts of Wonder characters, to Fall Guys, to Exterminator and Sarah Connor, to Predator, and such Sir Thomas More. Just even so, not many people were expecting Kelsier, The Survivor of Hathsin, from Sanderon's Mistborn series.
Not that there's anything wrong with Mistborn. I've read and enjoyed Sanderon's The Way of Kings, the first book in The Stormlight Archives, and I've to be sure Mistborn is another gravid serial publication. Withal, there are or so a trillion other fictional characters I would've predicted coming to Fortnite before Kelsier - namely, any computer game or risible book movie character ever. Only equally Sanderson himself explains, there's a rather supposed friendship at the stem of the Fortnite x Mistborn crossover.
"Well, Donald Mustard (manager of Fortnite) is a friend of mine," Sanderson wrote connected Reddit (via Eurogamer). "We worked on Infinity Blade together back in the day. So, he asked if I was concerned in sticking Kelsier into the game--and I thought IT was water-cooled. So we've been working on that for a a couple of months."
Sanderson likewise says more than crossing over content is on the way of life, just there probably won't be much more on the far side that.
"They'll button more, but wear't expect a huge crossover event. It's just a bit fun thing that I'm doing with my friend, who happens to have accidentally made one of the most popular games ever."
